Overview

The Get Britain Working suite of initiatives is part of the new Government’s back to work drive that is designed to tackle long-term sickness, support young people who are ‘not in education, employment, or training’ (NEET), and help people to develop their careers.

This webinar will look at the potential programmes of delivery and the procurement processes, as well as exploring lessons learnt from past initiatives and the devolution agenda, which will help providers secure future contracts.

Objectives

This webinar will help delegates to:

  • Have a clear understanding of the future tender opportunities derived from the Get Britain working suite of initiatives
  • Understand how and when opportunities will come to market
  • Plan for potential opportunities over the next 3-6 months

Steve O'Hare

Steve O'Hare has 15 years’ experience in senior business development roles in the apprenticeship, vocational skills and employment services sectors, where he has been at the forefront of the evolution and development of these markets. He is currently the Owner/Director of his own firm, SCLO Consulting, which specialises in: market analysis and entry strategies; support on business decisions; tender management, writing, review and support. In its first 18 months of trading SCLO have supported a number of organisations to secure new contracts including T-Levels, Devolved Adult Education Budget, ESFA ESF Programmes and Apprenticeship Contracts with Local Authorities/Levy Paying Employers, and successfully supported organisations with their Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers applications.
