Unpacking Provider Data Self-Assessment Toolkits (PDSATs) with a former SFA audit manager
AELP Webinar
Facilitator: Rupert Crossland, Director of Audit and Compliance, Professional Assessment Limited (PAL)
Overview
This webinar will help you as a provider to use PDSATs to their full potential in line with DFE expectations. Reviewing PDSATs will enable you to investigate anomalies which would otherwise be raised in an DFE funding audit, and resolve the issue either ensuring learner records are on file to validate the data, or by updating the data. Using PDSATs to manage the validity of your organisation’s ILR data will help you to safeguard your funding, minimise audit errors and protect your reputation with the DFE.
Objectives
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
- Select PDSAT reports that require investigation of potential funding errors;
- Identify anomalies in PDSAT reports that require particular remedial actions;
- Pinpoint accurate data and develop a process for explaining your retention of this data;
- Have all of the above ready to present as appropriate evidence during an audit, to protect your funding.
