Overview
Devolution of the Adult Education Budget now the Adult Skills Fund has been one of the biggest changes within the adult education market in recent history.
In August 2025, the newly formed East Midlands Combined County Authority and York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority will be taking control of their own budgets to deliver these programmes. In addition, areas, which currently have devolved activity will be looking to get further contracts.
This means that procurement processes are due for completion between now and August 2024, so why not join this webinar to learn more about these opportunities and pick-up best practice tips on tendering for these types of opportunity.

Steve O'Hare has 15 years’ experience in senior business development roles in the apprenticeship, vocational skills and employment services sectors, where he has been at the forefront of the evolution and development of these markets. He is currently the Owner/Director of his own firm, SCLO Consulting, which specialises in: market analysis and entry strategies; support on business decisions; tender management, writing, review and support. In its first 18 months of trading SCLO have supported a number of organisations to secure new contracts including T-Levels, Devolved Adult Education Budget, ESFA ESF Programmes and Apprenticeship Contracts with Local Authorities/Levy Paying Employers, and successfully supported organisations with their Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers applications.
