Director of Membership and Growth
Kelly Huntington joined AELP in June 2024 as Director of Membership and Growth. With a deep passion for the education sector and over 14 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to fostering growth and excellence in educational institutions and organisations. Her journey began at a large Further Education (FE) college in Kent, where she honed her skills and developed a strong foundation in educational administration and management.
Following her tenure at the FE college, she spent four and a half years with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), where she played a crucial role in supporting and advancing the professional development of accounting technicians and apprenticeships. Her work at AAT solidified the commitment she has to education and training, driving her to pursue even more impactful roles.
Kelly joined VTCT in July 2017, as an executive board member and head of UK sales. In this capacity, she led strategic initiatives and sales efforts that significantly enhanced the organisation’s reach and influence. Her leadership at VTCT was marked by innovation and a relentless drive to support vocational education and training.
Most recently, Kelly has been with HRConnect as the Head of Commercial for the past 18 months. In this role, she was instrumental in driving commercial strategies and building strong relationships with clients, all while staying true to her passion for education and professional development.
Based in Kent, Kelly is committed to making a positive impact on the education sector through strategic leadership, innovative solutions, and a deep understanding of the needs of educational institutions and their stakeholders.
